Kompact
Covered by a worldwide patent, KOMPACT is the only staircase with adjustable rise, going, height, depth and rotation. Its total flexibility allows endless configurations, with 1 or 2 one quarter turns (L or U) to fit any space.
The KOMPACT model is available in 2 different size tread widths – a 29” and 35” model.
It is available in 3 colors – hi-gloss black or white and satin grey powder coat finish painted – ready to install.
The standard KOMPACT staircase kit – 12 beech wood treads, structure and hardware – is adjustable in height from a range of 88 5/8” to 119 1/4“ and by using additional components, can be extended to a maximum height of 146 7/8“. The minimum height for this stair is 72 3/16” (here you simply use fewer treads).
The KOMPACT comes with the internal handrail for one side. A second side handrail is available as an optional accessory (includes 5 balusters, a handrail and hardware).
The KOMPACT stair treads are manufactured from European beech wood, finished with a light natural stain and clear coat protective sealer.
SAFETY BARS are available in a set of 11 to close off the back of the treads.
To complete your project a Balcony Rail Kit available. The Balcony Rail Kit comes complete with 10 balusters (length 39.37”), handrail, and all the necessary hardware to complete a 47” (width) installation. The Balcony Rail Kit is available in the same colors as the KOMPACT staircase kit.
This stair will not pass IRC requirements.
Each KOMPACT staircase kit is shipped complete with detailed assembly instructions to assist in your installation.
The stair has a 1-year warranty for manufacturing defects.
